All your financial data is stored locally on your device. To delete it completely:
- Open the Hileon Budget Tracker app
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete All Data"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Alternatively, uninstalling the app from your device will also remove all locally stored data.
Delete Cloud Data (If Cloud Backup Enabled)
If you enabled Cloud Backup, your data is also stored in Firebase Firestore. To delete your cloud data:
- Open the app → Settings → Cloud Backup
- Tap "Delete Cloud Data"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
If you cannot access the app, you can request cloud data deletion by email (see below).
Email Deletion Request
If you have Cloud Backup enabled and cannot access the app, send an email to support@hileonapp.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your Cloud Backup account
- A statement requesting deletion of your data
We will verify your identity via the email address on file and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your cloud data has been permanently removed.
What Gets Deleted
When you request complete data deletion, the following is permanently removed:
- Local data: All expenses, income, budgets, invoices, inventory, projects, goals, business profiles, and app preferences stored on your device
- Cloud data (if enabled): Your Firebase Firestore backup, authentication account, streak data, and any reward program participation records
- Account: Your Firebase Authentication account and email association are permanently deleted
After deletion, the app resets to its initial state as if freshly installed. No data is retained on our servers.
